We ask the right questions upfront so the estimate actually reflects your move.
Services
We start with what you need. Help with loading only, or do you also want packing, junk disposal, or unloading help on the other end? Any special-handling items?
Place
Then we learn about the property. House or apartment, number of bedrooms, how many stories, finished basement, garage, attic.
Access
Next we cover the logistics. What's the distance from your place to the truck, POD, or storage unit? Elevator or stairs? What's the terrain along the way?
Inventory
Finally we walk through what's being loaded. Every major item, plus an honest read on how many boxes you'll end up with.
You get a detailed estimate
Once we have the full picture, we put together a clear, itemized estimate. You can be confident we've covered everything, because we asked about everything.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most.
Same pricing logic as full moves. You'll be on the higher end during summer, end-of-month (the 24th through the 3rd), Fridays, Saturdays, and when premium services like packing are involved. Holidays are the priciest, so avoid them if you can.
Typical price ranges:
- Small jobs (less than a full apartment, single room, etc.): $300 to $600
- One-bedroom apartments: $600 to $1,000
- Two-bedroom homes: $1,000 to $1,600
- Three-bedroom homes and larger: $1,600 to $3,200
If someone designed it and built it in a factory, we can load it. U-Haul, Penske, Budget, PODS, U-Box, ABF, 1-800-PACK-RAT, you name it.
We always bring them. You can purchase whatever materials are used on the day of service.
It depends on three things:
- Your space: stairs, elevator access, tight hallways, basement or first-floor layout
- Services needed: disassembly (a bunk bed takes longer than a kitchen table), furniture pad-wrapping, packing
- Access: how far the truck is parked, elevator availability, stairs
Depending on those factors, expect anywhere from 2 hours for a simple ground-floor load to 6 hours for a more complex job.
We can, and we run like a well-oiled machine to make it work. That said, heads up: rental truck companies sometimes don't have your truck ready because a previous customer didn't return theirs on time. To be safe, consider picking up the truck a few hours before we arrive, or even the day before.
