Most Arlington and Bethesda high-rises and downtown D.C. condos demand a Certificate of Insurance on file before they reserve an elevator. We issue COIs to building management ahead of move day so the freight elevator is locked in and the loading dock is ours when the truck arrives.
Parking and permits
D.C. no-parking permits and DMV curb access
D.C. moves need emergency no-parking signs posted 72 hours before pickup or delivery. We walk you through the DDOT application or pull it as part of the quote, plus handle BCDOT in Baltimore and Alexandria curb permits when the truck needs the loading zone. Beltway tolls, COG-zone access, and narrow Georgetown alleys are all priced in up front.

We store your items in a climate-controlled facility on a day-by-day basis, which makes us more flexible than public storage.
One important note: you don't have access to your items while they're in storage. This is a security measure. If customers came to visit their items, we'd need a staff member to stay with them the entire time. To keep things secure and consistent for everyone, we don't allow visits to the warehouse. Our customers actually appreciate knowing that no one is poking around their belongings.

Yes. Your items are covered by the same policy that covers your move, plus we carry additional storage-specific insurance on top of that for full coverage.
You can request individual items, but keep in mind that every retrieval counts as another move, and every move has a minimum charge. So if you know you'll need a few things, it's worth planning ahead and grabbing them together to make the most of that minimum.
