The Challenge
Family moving from Cascades to a single-family home in Leesburg. Cascades HOA required 72-hour move notification and prohibited weekend moves on the Potomac Lakes interior streets. Family had a full home gym in the basement (treadmill, weight rack, peloton, free weights) plus a baby grand piano on the main floor.
How we handled it
Filed the Cascades HOA notification at booking. Scheduled the move for Thursday morning to comply with the no-weekend interior-street rule. Dispatched a 26-foot truck and a four-person crew. Disassembled the weight rack at the joinery for transport. Moved the baby grand piano with a piano dolly through the main-floor garage entry. Loaded the home gym out through the basement walk-out. Eight-hour move, no damage to the original Brazilian cherry flooring or the new Leesburg home's hardwood.
