How we handled it
Booked 6 weeks ahead. Scheduled the move for a Tuesday morning to avoid the worst Route 1 student traffic. Dispatched a 22-foot truck (Calvert Hills streets are narrower). Disassembled the grand piano at the action and moved through the front door. Custom-padded each pottery piece with archival foam. Eight-hour move, no damage to the original 1925 heart-pine flooring or the pottery collection.
